Most times you will receive the full quantity that you order. There could be an exception to this but you will be notified if this applied to your order.
9. How long will it take for me to receive the finished job?
?If a new project it depends on how many changes are made to job. It also depends on how long the customer takes to approve final design and type work.
10. How well will my job match what I see on my monitor?
Because of wide differences in monitor calibration and the different technologies used, some printed colors may not exactly match the colors on your specific monitor. Colors on the monitor are displayed in RGB while most printing is done in CMYK or with spot colors. See important terms for definition of RGB (viewing on monitor), CMYK (printing process) and Pantone (spot colors).
11. Will you match a sample I print out on my own printer, or a previously printed sample?
We print to the "pleasing color" standard, using standard ink densities. There is no guarantee that your finished piece will approximate your printed sample. This is due in part to the varying results from different output devices including inkjet and laser printers, continuous tone proofing devices, high-resolution film-based proofs, these are all different than true offset printing. There can even be a significant difference from one commercial print shop to another. Inkjet and laser prints are known to look very different from true offset printing. The type and color of stock will influence the color as well. On white stock and printing pms spot colors the print color will be a good representative of the actual colors of the pms color charts which is the standard of the printing industry.
If you do require precise color match, please contact us to arrange for a digital color proof. Once you approve the additional fees, we will produce and get you a hard proof. When you approve and return the proof, we will strive to match the proof's color when printing your final piece. There are substantial additional charges for precise color match service. Also, if you request color correction or other changes after you see your proof, there will be a charge for color correction time and a new proof.
12. Can I place an order and have my graphic designer send you the files separately?
Yes. Have your graphic designer read our file transfer section on the job guidelines page of our website.
13. Do I get a proof before you print the job?
Yes. There may be different types of proofs available to you depending on the complexity of the job. This will be explained to you when you place your order.
14. How long does it take for me to get the proof of my job?
This depends on how quickly you need the proof, how complex the job is and what our production schedule will allow.
15. What if I want to change something after I place the order or see the proof?
We always try to accommodate you but some changes cannot be made after certain stages of the production schedule.
16. Do you do color copies?
Yes but there are many variables involved. Some of the things we will want to know are: a) Will the job be copied off the glass verses directly from a file? b) Will any part of it need to scanned before the copies are made? c) What size paper do you want? The price of the copies will vary depending on quantities, variables in job and if job can be pleasing color or close to an exact match.
